Few photos I took last night while testing out my dvx/letus combo with my greenscreen.

man the lex sure isnt compact, I know this is the economy version bur is sure looks big, i guess its the same for any adapter with the flip, can we see some footage? How did the key/green screen work out, when using the LexE do you see less artifacts?

Awesome, I've wanted to see some non product shot pics of the economy. Could you do me a favour and try (or tell me) if it can be mounted sideways so the camera doesn't need to be lifted up all that much? I wanna get an economy and don't want to raise my camera up.

I didn't really take any time to set up lighting for the photos sorry for the lack of quality :).

They say the lex is even bigger than the economy. I would recomend some kind of rails for sure.

You mean have the economy mounted sideways? Thanks for taking a look.
I do have a few test clips on my site www.joshjohnsonfilms.com (http://www.joshjohnsonfilms.com) these were shot with available light.
I will try to post some footage later.

Ecking, I've seen pictures of the Letus Economy mount the the exact opposite side it is shown on the pictures...which eliminates the need for moving the camera up.

I read you, Jon. So much for the portability factor. If you at these pictures you can see how big the letus really is...it's almost as big as the dvx100. But I guess if one wants a flip the portability factor has to go...all other manufacturers have similarly big options...the letus economy being the least expensive.

I have no doubt that you need rails with the LEX,and the E, and I do hear some users using no rails with their rigs, think of all the stress on those poor threads... I can see it happening with the Brevis, but the the Lex, the Brevis is just a baby compared to the LEX...goo goo gaa gaa...lol

Rawfa that's good news, that's basically what I want to do with my economy, I don't want to raise the camera and I'll get some kind of bracket to support the adapter I guess.

Ecking, I'm sorry, man. I thought I saw it mounted the other way around on the letus forum but I checked it out and it is mounted the same way it's mounted here. http://www.letusdirect.com/letus35-extreme/410-reletus-extreme-with-cavision-rods.html#410
But if you take a look at the last picture it seems to me that you could maybe mount it upside down so it would be straight along the rails with the camera...it's just conjecture from my part though.
