I just grabbed a new Powerbook G4 on eBay.

I'm no expert on Mac model generations, but based on the specs (and the eBay picture) it does not have a P2 slot.

Can I add a P2 slot? I know on older Macs you could install different ports on the slots, but I haven't done that since I had a blue & white G3.

Any info would be much appreciated.

These are the specs of the machine:

G4-1.0GHz Processors
512Mb Memory
60Gb Hard Drive
OSx Tiger 10.4
DVD-RW Super Drive
Video Onboard
64Mb Video Memory
Audio Onboard
NIC Onboard
Modem Onboard
Airport Wireless
RJ11 Port
2 USB Ports
AC Power Adapter

Cheers.

It's called a PCMCIA or PC Card slot. And yes, all 1ghz powerbook G4's have one (with the exception of the 12inch).
