I'm aware of the youtube HD thing and how it works on a PC. I need to do it on a Mac. My footage is DVCPro HD 720p and I can get Visualhub to encode my video to flash fine but at 640 X 480 it stretches the video instead of cropping it. Has anyone else done this?

Or know of a better program for doing this? I want the image cropped with the black like so it retains it's aspect ratio and HD quality.

I should have said HD Quality, not really HD but somehow if you do it right youtube won't do any encoding of your video and it will look really good.

Do you happen to know the settings?

No, that's why I asked if anyone knew how to do it.

I don't know if it works on a Mac, but here are 2 tutorials and a sample:

There is more tutorial on Yooutube.
Just look for "HD" and "Youtube" aned you will find some.
I also saw some instructional for Quicktime 7.

Yes, and also I can't find much about exporting DVCPro HD directly from the Final Cut Pro timeline to Flash. That would be the best way to do it, just haven't seen any talk about it. I wouldn't worry about it so much but the band wants to put in on youtube, myspace and wherever else they can promote. I just want it to look as good as it can on these sites.
