Is there anyway with any hack of any sort to shoot 25fps SYNC (pal) with the NTSC version of the camera? A friend of my moved to Europe and has an NTSC camera, any suggestions?
Thanks guys and girls!

No, you pretty much can't do what you're asking.

Thanks Barry, what about (long shot, for a quick shoot) shooting 50fps and slowing it down in post?

You could shoot 50fps and in Post play back at 200% or compress time to 50% to achieve 25fps but you still have the problem being the footage in NTSC colour system 525 lines not PAL 625. You can do a format conversion but you will loose quality as PAL straight out has more lines than NTSC. If it's just the frame rate you want shoot 24fps and do a reverse 3/2 pull down or something like that, i think...

Hey thanks Slikii! I will pass the information along to them... I think its pretty stupid that the camera cant do both.. It's probably a small software issue.. I have a cheapo still camera that does both!
