Time date data transfer question

Hi group,

I'm considering buying a panasonic dvx-100b- seems like the perfect camera for my needs. However, I need to make sure that the time date information/data will be transferred live to my external DVD burner.

For much of my work I will NOT be recording to mini-DV but directly to an external DVD burner. It is critical that the time date information be burned onto the DVD copy at the time the copy is made. I know that the time date info can be recorded to tape, then copied/burned to a DVD later, but I don't want to go to that extra step.

Can anyone here confirm that the time date information will be send along with picture to my external DVD burner? FYI- I work as a legal videographer and need to record to two backup DVD decks and that video needs to include the time and date information.
