Panasonic released new firmware for the AG-HPX500 and AG-HPX502 (http://panasonic.sixbullets.net/#firmware) cameras, v1.07-00-0.00, on Christmas day.

They've been making a lot of firmware updates recently, so check all your cams and P2 hardware.

I wonder what this version fixes?

I find myself constantly wondering the same thing! They updated drivers for everything P2 last month, too. Nobody was reporting stability problems, so I'm kind of baffled.

There was a major bug with 16 and 32 gb p2 cards causing sound problems, maybe that's been fixed *crosses fingers*

Thanks for the awesome firmware site ProfessorU. I will now only visit the panny sites when I need a good laugh.

I found it. Unfortunately that's really all it says.
