View Full Version : Subforum for 500 Owner Locations

Would it be possible to initiate a sub-menu for HPX500 shooter/owner locations? Don Schechter started a sticky for the NY area, but I could see value in an official location for availability.
Like maybe East Coast, Midwest, West Coast folders?
That way if any of us are in need of an extra camera, DP, etc, we have a resource right here.
Thanks,
Brad
Edit...
Sorry, I meant to say sub-forum, not sub-menu.:embarasse

As an HPX500 owner in Fort Worth, Texas, and someone who travels quite a bit, I would love a list like that!

Interested. Especially if you guys ever need someone to shoot in Asia/Australia.

Well hopefully this can be added as a sticky at least.
GO to link below and add your location / coverage. I got the ball rolling.
HPX500 USERS GOOGLE MAP (http://maps.google.com.au/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&om=1&msa=0&msid=104381573840711651287.0004433666a33fa446ceb&ll=36.377068,139.108887&spn=131.710074,326.25&z=2)
You will need to click the edit button first, then you will see the blue bubble in the top left corner like the one for me over japan, place it where you live (may need to zoom in to get exact location) and just enter your details.

Hey Noel... how about changing the name to "HPX users"? Should it be limited to 500 folk?

Its OK for me. Though when you put your details on the map Id recommend adding what you shoot with so others can see. In fact maybe everyone should do that?
SO format could be?
Name
What you shoot with (how many)
Website (or link to another way to contact you)
What name you shoot under / for
quote if you like. or where you can shoot, either or both.
You can also add pictures to the map as well. So feel free.
MODS any chance for sticky? Is this against DVXUser policy at all?
