35mm lens adapter for the DVX-100a

Hey guys, on eof my buddies says he knows somebody who has a "decked" out DVX---he mentioned that he purchased an adapter allowing him to shoot with 35mm lenses? Could this be true? Has anyone heard of such a product?

there is the mini35 adapter that will allow you to use 35mm lenses that cost about $10,000 but you can rent it for much much cheaper. Thats the only one I know of.
