ok, i know its a digital camcorder, but even digital cameras have ISO speeds. what is the ISO/ASA for the HVX200? i also am aware that "gain" adjusts the light sensitivity of the sensor. what would the ISO be if one was to raise the "gain"? what else effects the light sensitivy of this camera? or is "gain" the only adjustment you can make besides frame rate, aperture, and shutter speed/angle?
thanks a lot for any help you may offer.

Video Cam, 1/48 mode the sensitivity in "Tungsten Light" is close to 320 ASA
+6 db is the equivalent of 1 stop.
In "Day Light" i do not know, lightmeters and video cams read different, i have learn not to trust a lightmeter in D Light.
Happy new year. colin.

I was on a shoot last year and had my HVX right next to another HVX framed on the same subject (cooking show). The cameras were painted exactly the same and yet mine was 2/3 of a stop slower than the one next to me. I still have no idea why.

Shutter speed, perhaps?

Shutter speed, perhaps?
Wish it was, because that would make sense. Unfortunately I had everything synced up. When I started the day I painted all the cameras, and then when I had them side by side I noticed the discrepancy and went through every setting to double check that I hadn't missed something.

Zoom setting at full telephoto on one camera, and not on another perhaps?
