This camera is amazing! I shot a few test photos at night with no flash and iso 800 hand held! I bought the kit so it came with the 28-135mm IS USM lens and my hands were shaky but it managed to keep the photos pretty steady. I'll shoot some day time photos soon.

Though the subject matter isn't overly stimulating (as is the case with test shots I find) I think you are off to a good start with your new camera. I am looking forward to your day test shots. Your 40D looks like it handles low light well and you've got a firm grip on holding that baby steady. Color saturation and detail look good here,,,Good work!

Thanks Mino, I was on my way home and decided to pull over to the local high school and snap some quick test shots. Mainly I was interested in seeing how the camera handles low light situations and I was pleasantly surprised. I changed the color temperature a little and added +1 saturation to it just to experiment. I was a little shaky cause I was wearing a thin shirt but the IS on the lens did a good job of making the steady shot.
