Howdy...
Anyone have any idea when the EX will be shipping from places like B&H? I know it was supposed to be Nov, and then Dec, but it's almost 2008!!!

It seems to be available from several authorized dealers right now.

I spoken to someone at B&H Video last week about EX-1 delivery and he thought by Jan 15 all pre-orderwould be shipped?
i ordered it on wednesday last week and it arrived this past saturday. no waiting list...nothing...no price increase..got it from an authorized sony dealer with an extra battery, 16 gig card, and they didnt play any games with the shipping...i used my own fedex account.

I've paid my EX1 November 11th. Ordered from UK. Still waiting... :(

Yes, its a shame. B&H, where I've ordered from many times before gave me the run around, telling me there was a huge wait. Pro max on the west coast gave me about a month to two month time estimate. I ended up finding a place in Denver that had them for immediate delivery, but i guess in the UK there are less options as far as places you can go to.

Just spoke to a dealer in the UK and they are now available in store.
Puts me in a bit of a dilema. Do I fly to the USA and save some money, or bite the bullet, pay the extra and get silver service from Sony UK and an extra card?
I have to sell my HVX200, together with two 4 gb cards, 100 Gb firestore, Bebob Box, extra batteries for the FS100. The shop are getting back to me tomorrow with a part exchange price, as I purchased it from them about 18 months ago.
If they don't offer a fair price, Ebay here I come. Looks like I will have an EX1 within a couple of weeks.

Hi,
I ordered a unit from a German store just before Christmas.
I was told that the camera would ship early January, but now the store informs me, that Sony has postponed their shipment to them.
Actually they say that no Germany stores has any Sony Ex-1 cameras.
Is anyone aware of any German stores with the camera "in stock"?
