Cineform states that they have updated their Prospect HD and Neo HD to convert the EX1's .mp4 to their DI. I am having trouble. I'm using both in trial mode (I want to make sure it's going to work before I spend $1k) and it does not seem to like .mp4s at all. I get the following error message:
Error: cfEncoder.CoCreateInstance(CF_ENCODER_GUID)(0x8004 0154 - Class not registered)in(ConvertGraph.cpp at 2023)
The "Class not registered" is a little disconcerting. These trials are the updated versions and should work. The mp4 files play on the viewer software that came with the camera, so I don't think it's a fundamental encoding issue with the camera...but I want to find out for sure. Any ideas? (I have submitted a technical support ticket to cineform...but they are all out of the office until next week) Am I missing something here? Thanks for any help!
If it matters, I'm have Premiere Pro 2.0, but I am trying to convert the files with HDLink independently. I also have been unable to load the mp4 files in Vegas 8
