Mixing 720pn with 1080p footage

I´ll shoot a feature in january with the hpx 500. For some scenes we will cover music performances and therefor will gather a lot of footage.

Is it a bad idea to cover those footage-intense scenes in 720pn and mixing them with the rest shot in 1080p?

I mix the two all the time with my HVX. Usually your output is to SD DVD but even if it was in HD, no one will really notice any difference.
