I know we have talked about this in segments, in spots here and there. First, do we have an extensive list of Features shot with the DVX?

If not, can we start one here?

there has been one, but I can't find it. Mostly probably because its very old
not that the camera is no longer relevant for shooting features, but rather, so apropos most have lost interest or the need for lists to prove it i think. (only explaining why its buried, not saying it wouldn't still be interesting to see:

now those include shorts and TV shows and are anytime DVX100 is mentioned in the film or TV show's tech spec list. But there's some raw data for someone to kull through.

I agree Jack and thanks for the pointer. I'm consulting right now on an Indie and the DVX is very much in the mix. Especially because I own 2 and I would give the Producers a big break on renting. They're looking at everything from DVX up. It's a definate debate with a lower budget.

Keynstring - you should look at the movie called 'November'. It was done on a relativley low budget ( a couple hundred thousand). It starred Courtney Cox and if I remember correctly, it won the Best Cinematography award at Sundance. They shot almost everything with the DVX100. The DVD is available on Netflix. Check out the director's commentary, especially at the end, where they briefly go over the technical details/workflow and even talk about compression issues. Good luck on your project.
