I have the WD-H43. It rarely is removed from my camera, although I'm not crazy about the added weight. It might be useful if you list the respective lens weights & sizes in your comparison.

The quick report was just that. Being mindful that weights are easy to devine from other sources whereas the key facts of relative resolution, distortion and color correction are not discussed anywhere. Truth be told, I have all the supporting pictures- waiting to be cropped and pluncked into my HTML pages. Just NO time before the new year to do it-so I took the shortcut, stating my conclusions.
I wonder how relevant weight of these lenses is. Once you're at the stage where you are committed to HDV, Image quality should be the key consideration- so how does 35 grams matter in the larger scheme of things?
By the time run'gun rig is all together, it weighs in at a hefty 5.25lbs anyway. That's not including the Tekkeon battery that lives in my field vest.
