Its been a while since Ive gotten to use my DVX and just need to ask this before I do. I am doing a school project that I am filming and someone else is editing. Just want to make sure that if I film with a DVX then my partner can import the footage with any type of miniDV camera and use that footage with any editing software (most likely final cut). Thanks!

Yes, should work fine. I and many others do it all the time.

BUT... if you shoot 24PA, you need to tell him this, and he needs to know how to correctly import and manage the footage in a 23.97 fps timeline.
If that may be an issue, just shoot 24p normal and hand him the tape.

Right - but just to clarify, this is the same whether you use the DVX or any other MiniDV equipment for capture.
