focus controller

I own The VZ EFC focus controller for my JVC PRO HD 110U. http://varizoom.com/products/controls/vzefc.html
My question is that would this controller work with the EX1, since they both
are Fujinon Lenses.

No. The EX1's lens doesn't have propper focus gears, and it has a new proprietery "lens control port" .. even Sony couldn't tell me what it did when I quizzed them about it at IBC, let alone what controllers woudl be available.

Thanks, I guess I would just sell this along with my JVC Cam...
