well I'm slowly assembling my kit. So far I've only bought the cam, a rode nt1 and the g2 wireless kit with mic plug. Of course I have caples, tapes, etc. what bag would you reccommend? Thanks.

I've used all sorts of bags but I think think the best case has got to be a pelican one.

Watertight, dust proof, shotgun proof.. (watch their torture test video on their website)

Pelican Website (http://pelican.com/index_flash.php)

I would recommend only looking at their "large cases" for your equipment. As far as buying them, they run anywhere from 100-300 dollars and their available at many online retailers.

Hope this helps,

BH Photo Video Soft Cases (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/shop/2044/Camera_Camcorder_Cases_Camera_Camcorder_Bags_Soft_ .html)

I've tried Lowel Pro, Kata, and Portabrace. It's really all based on preference and how much you need to carry. Portabrace makes alot of larger soft bags and you really can't go wrong with them. I don't know if B&H carrys any larger Lowel bags but I've always personally liked them. Kata makes great quality ones to. If your planning to expand your tools, go for a bigger bag. Nothings worse than getting a bag for what you have so far and not giving room for your further expenses.
