I am building out the online archives for all the past festivals. I have many of the films already, but am looking for some very specific ones. If you have any of the following, please send me a PM or an e-mail ( contact@daysevenstudios.com ) so I can arrange to get them from you:
Any film from ZombieFest
THERE GOES THE NEIGHBORHOOD from HeroFest
Any film from fests prior to ZombieFest (these include films like P.K.'s THE LONER and Hudson's LUPER, etc. Thanks for any help in locating these films.

Peace,
Larry

Just want to add, that we'd like to get this up asap. Larry is doing great things with dvxfest and having archives of every film from every previous fest available to you whenever you want is one of them.

thanks,
Jason

All the ZombieFest films are on the ZombieFest DVD, aren't they?

Yes, they should be and I'm checking with Jarred to see if he has a copy I can borrow. It would be preferable to find them online somewhere, so I can just transfer them, but I'm sure I'll have to rip/upload the dvd files. I know that Zombie Fest was prior to the mirror system, so the likelihood of finding them online is very low. But I put it out there anyway. :)

Since I know I can get the Zombie entries from the dVD, I'm more interested in tracking down the old fest entries. I've scoured the old threads and found some, and made notes of the ones I still need. I'll be contacting those people directly and hope they still have them.

Larry have you tried the search function

heheh, not to ask dumb question, but you said ANY from Zombie fest ... you know that the winners have a thread in that subforum with links to the three winning films.

larry, i think i have every single fest film as uploaded, and i poosibly also have all the films from every prior small fest. at least i know i archived them all for quite some time, but i know ive asked myself why i kept any bu the good ones for a few fests, and im not sure if i started deleting any of them at some point, but i can take a look and let you know.

Neil - Thanks!!!! Please let me know as soon as you locate any of the films. I didn't start keeping archives until I got involved the back end, which was after Hero Fest.

I have done a lot of research into old posts and found names/titles of the authors/films from those old small fests. Unfortunately a lot of the names have changed since then, so it's hard to track some of them down.

Anyway, as soon as you know, let me know what you have and let's work out a way to get them from you.

K i found adfest, dramafest, spyfest and all hallows fest, but i cant find the rest of them for the life of me. i know ive contemplated deleting them many times because i dont go back and watch them, and they were starting to eat up drive space, but i cant recall if i made a DVD or something with them all on there or threw them onto a different drive. I definitely have the first ones listed though. ill keep digging for the rest because i saved everything for so long, and hopefully i didnt actually just hit the delete key one day. although i do have a DVd of "the loner" and im sure i have texas fortune, and a few other choice past fest films as well as downloaded if i cant find all of them.

Just wanted to say I think this is a great idea too. Kudos Larry for giving it a go.

If all of them were put on readily available DVDs, I'd be one interested in buying.
