The ones that allow you to do like an 18 inch push-in? What's the biggest length they make of these and how much do they run?

Are you talking about something like the Indie Slider (http://www.indifocus.com/products_indisliderpro.htm)?

Ah yes, that's the one. Have you used this Luis? Seems like a compact way to get some nice movement into your shot.

No, I've never used it.
But someone on here must have - I'd recommend doing a search for 'indie slider' and seeing what you can find.

I've never used on of the cheaper ones, but that is a common addition to the Fischer Dolly system and those work great. With a stable support you can do some cool moves like looking over a railing... I mean a dynamic shot of the rail coming towards the camera and the the shot tilts down to mimic a person looking over the rail down at something.

If the thing works well then it would be a fun thing to have on hand.

Hmm, it looks really interesting - it would be rather useful to keep on hand. I'll look into that.

Wow, I had never seen those. I was hoping for some sample footage on their site though.

Could be a great addition to the bag o tricks.

I find it strange they have no footage from it. Is it really as smooth as they say?

Footage is a MUST these days!
But will probably follow soon...

Could this be enough to get some movement in talking-head style interviews...?
Or is the way not long enough (of course in proportion to the distance of the interviewee...)?

Any luck finding footage? Who is the competitor they mention? Maybe they have footage on their site.

Sliders plates are rad...
