This was actually a ho hum shot that seemed so lifeless I had to nudge it with some HDR but the volcano looked so cool. I think I was really after this shot

but with room for more foreground without pylons. It has always been on my list to capture Mount Baker in all its splendor since I first saw it. I think I'll just have to try this shot again someday.

to be honest...i cant tell which frame/comp i like more. they both draw but for different reasons...
