Yeah, you pretty well got screwed. You might be able to take them to small claims court, but you don't have many legal options without clearance.

I would probably wait for him after work and break something of his.

I'm sure your production insurance will take care of it.

Life is too short to waste any of it worrying about revenge.

First of all, that security is an AHole! He could of just take the tape and give you back the camera. If that happened to me, he'll be in the hospital.

I would write a polite but firm letter to the security company with the security guard's name. If you were cooperating and have collaborative (corroborative?) witnesses that will state you were doing as you were asked and they intenetionally damaged your equipment (assuming that is what happened) they may (doubtful) reimburse you. Even if you were not allowed to have the camera and were asked to leave, they have no right to smash your gear.
If nothing else it might make you feel better.

Or you could go to the vendor, since they should have taken care of that.

And you sound like the type to do that in front of witnesses and security cameras. Then you would be in jail, still have no camera, and now have no legal recourse. Instead, you will be the one facing charges.

Then I would have all the free time in the world and write my next script .
Who would be stupid enough to do that! At least not until a few months later :Drogar-SunGlass(DBG

Hey thanks for teaching me proper grammer. You are a very smart man. Come by my mansion in Arcadia one day and let's have lunch. You must be VERY successul because you are so smart. Maybe even a college graduate
i think i am going to make a purposeful effort to annoy the fuck out of those who have problems with people who do not take grammar into consideration when they are writing quick replies to those who they will not be graded from.. jesus.. get off peoples cases :P
its,, thats right, NO apostrophe!!! its an internet website... not school :P
