I am filming a short film in the next two weeks and I need an earthzoom shot just like the one on videocopilot.net with the exception of a little more complication (of course). I need a shot of an earth zoom from space all the way down into the sunroof of a moving BMW. You can download the project file from videocopilot.net (it's an after effects file) and i can provide you with a high res above shot photo of the car I will be using if someone could animate it flying down a highway and put a bunch of motion blur on it all the way down into the sunroof.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again,

Brock

Sounds like an interesting project..

Given the proper photos of the various zoom levels it shouldn't be too tough to do. What is the location this is supposed to be taking place? I've had a hard time finding quality imagery like that used in the videocopilot demo.

hmm... lets see... i'll try to find the exact photo of what road we will be filming on to give you an idea. It's basically a 2 lane highway in the country. not hard at all. Give me 5 and i'll have an exact location of google.

Ok... it's right next to this road (on the left) It's called Martha Layne Collins Blue Grass Pkwy. Here is the link...

Wilrose Ln, Versailles, KY 40383

http://maps.live.com/?v=2&sp=adr.Wilrose%20Ln%2C%20Versailles%2C%20KY%204038 3&encType=1 (just click on the hybrid button and zoom out a bit and to the left to see the "highway")

So it doesn't have to be this EXACT road, but something that looks similar. Just close enough that the audience won't notice. Think it can be done to look good? I figured with enough motion blur near the car as it's driving near the end would sell it.

Also, something wierd, i like the actualy spinning earth from the Blue Sphere tutorial better than the one from the earth zoom. The blue sphere one looks more real.
