If i actually meant, a digital camera in movie mode with no audio.. I don't think anyone would believe me anyway.

Wow. There are 2 Red Camera users in the poll. I'm looking forward to that.

I put Red, but it'll be pushing it to get it and have enough time to edit and get score completed...so who knows....if not Red then DVX100B

Does anyone else laugh when they read that? Ha, such a big jump in cameras.

Same. (although if I had the capability to do all of this in HD...I certainly would. :) )

Right now it's Handcranked 35mm, Super-8, or the DVX. It will depend on what's available budget-wise when it's time to shoot.

Interesting - 5 people voted for RED, but only 1 posted in this thread...
(and he's no longer shooting on the RED)
:)
So we have 4 anonymous RED entries coming our way?

I would say that even 1 is unlikely.

Red Schmed. Who cares what camera you use if the film itself isnt comparable.
That being said... I might hop in with the HVX.

Don't forget that there were multiple 'Red' answers to this same poll on the last fest and not one Red film was entered. Basically, people were just screwing with the poll.
I have a Red, and I may or may not enter. The longer time length and subject matter does tempt me.

Originally we were going to shoot on the 100a. However, the rest of the team was pretty stoked about using the HVX. So I have acquiesced to their wishes and we're shooting on the HVX. There won't be any adapters though. Only the camera and it's inherent abilities.

It's funny to think that someone could shoot RED 2k/4k and enter Lovefest then have to turn it in h.264 and under 50megs!
Hopefully, the entry would also make the normal festival circuit otherwise that would be ridiculous overkill.
HA!
