I am having problems with connecting my hvx to my computer. I have both the firewire connection and the usb connection ready to hook up. I didn't get p2 cards yet b/c I'm waiting for the 32 gig to come out so right now I'm using mini dv tapes.
I have the hvx plugged in with the usb right now and the pc is not recognizing it. I have it in PC/DUB mode and tape is selected but nothing pops up on the pc. What options do I have to select on the hvx to use the firewire connect and which options do I have to select for the usb mode?
After I get the camera connected I'm guessing I just open Windows Media Player or Sony Vegas and import the files. How exactly do I dub the tape on to a pc file? I really appreciate all of the help I can get. I have 2 IMPORTANT projects I have to edit and I could really use some quick advice. Thanks again!
