Random Corrupt MOV Files On Citidisk

After initializing the Citidisk to transfer my files onto an external hard drive for backup I find some files (great footage) has been corrupted and will not play. I will get a message "this is not a valid movie file" or "This file has been corrupted"

Strange thing is when turning off the Citidisk then turning it back on different files that were fine before I turned it off have now been corrupted. I did nothing to change the files or manipulate them in any way.

Is there any way to recover these? Thanks.

It sounds to me like the files on the Citidisk aren't actually bad, and that the files are getting corrupted during the transfer to your computer. Can you give us some details about your system?
