MoviePoet.com (http://www.MoviePoet.com) is a screenwriting site with hundreds of 5 page scripts in their database.

I realize that many scripts can be a little overwhelming to read through, so I thought I would list some scripts that might be interesting for LoveFest (I'll add more as I think of them).

"Rutting Season (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=106)" by Kirsten Bischoff
When males of any species have an urge to mate that leads them astray from the right path - one woman says - the buck stops here.

"Mr. Wobber's Flight Plan (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=214)" by Kirk White
A thoroughly broken woman goes through photos of a trip to San Francisco; the weekend she was SUPPOSED to get engaged.

"Better (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=283)" by Dave Kunz
Donnie has issues to work through with the women in his life.

"Leverage (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=205)" by Trevor Bryon
When a middle-weight boxing champion's girlfriend falls seriously ill, the only way to save her means betraying the man who took him to the top.

"Time in a Bottle (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=138)" by Aimee Parrott
A woman keeps a promise she made to her best friend.

"Happy Birthday (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=187)" by Antonio Gangemi
A young boy receives the best birthday wish a son could ask for.

"Day of Wrath (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=209)" by William Coleman
A horrific nuclear accident at SAC in Omaha unleashes the silent death of radiation across the Midwest. When a farmer and his wife realize that their lifelong exposure to x-rays means they will die before their young children, they are faced with a horrible dilemma.

You need to register (it's quick, easy, and free) to read the scripts. If you find one you like, please contact the author directly to arrange for the rights.

Every month at MoviePoet.com another contest ends and there are more scripts online (we added 43 this past month).

Here are three more that would be great for LoveFest:

"Arcade (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=335)" by John P. Dowgin
A man must choose. (Note: this script has 1 location and is only 1 page long).

"Drawing Circles Around A Heart (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=302)" by Charlie Hebert
A button, a coin, and a ring - life comes full circle for Laura.

"Frank's Flowers (http://www.moviepoet.com/script.aspx?scriptid=340)" by Paul Young
A single father proposes to another woman against the will of his own daughter.

If you are in need of a script, I would encourage you to read these (there are many more as well) and reach out to the writers.
