OK I plug the FS-100 into the mac and it appears on the desktop.
I plug it into my PC running Vista Home Premium and it shows up as an external drive.

I plug it into my laptop and....nothing. Nadda. Zip. Only difference is I am using a a different cable into the laptop, ( the small firewire which is on all laptops)

Any ideas? Interestingly I plug in my HVX200 through the same firewire and it runs like a dog, but if I use usb to the laptop its fast.

Are there drivers needed?

And another problem. I plug the P2 card into the slot and nothing happens. P2 genie also doesn't work (because of Vista) so I can't drag the P2 content onto the laptop. The drivers that came with the HVX when I got it first day it came out don't seem to work with Vista.

Again what the best way to get it working? Driver from where?

Thanks in advance.

OK found usb drivers on the Panasonic site but no firewire.
