Well, we're keeping the name, but the story has been changed completely. Heck, the name will be different next week too.

In keeping with my tradition of not letting cats out of bags, I'm not going to give a whole lot away here. However, I will say the post about Hemingway's 6 word story really got me thinking and so it is my goal to turn in a complete and enthralling project with a less than 3 minute running length. I am actually shooting for two minutes.
Now for the headaches, I am shooting a period piece and get to start looking for period clothing. I have all manner of cars and vehicles available, locations in Texas are easy as all the small towns love production crews and their money. However, with a very small budget, clothes are going to be a trick.
I'm hoping the holidays won't be a big problem, I really want to see this project completed.

Glad that Hemingway post was interesting to someone.

You've really got my curiosity piqued now, Will.
Good luck with this - I'm looking forward to it.

you interested in helping out with the strangest edit you'll have to do in a long time?

Now that really has my curiosity piqued - I'll drop you a PM.
I know you don't want to post any more details here...

Well the original entry I was hoping to make got rave reviews and will one day be done. However, it ain't gonna be a day ending in 2007 or 2008. After lengthy discussions with my cohorts in madness, it has been decided the project would require time and capital we simply do not currently have. So, we're going with a back up plan. We have two other equally fun and original story ideas and we'll be deciding on which one to do in the next couple of days.
Stay tuned for more details.

There is someone with the same name Wild Imagination Films that spams tons of events and stuff on myspace bulletins. Thought you were the same peoples. :)

Meeting this weekend to decide on the script. Either one will be the only one of its kind in the contest, guaranteed. I'll give up some details after we decide what we're going to go with.

Action, adventure, beauty, love, music, and all under 6 minutes. Likely to be changing the name of our little story, but hey, it's all good.
Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find, and secure the use of, an "Old West" town?!?!?!?
We intend to push the 100a as hard as we can and see what happens. I still don't think we've seen the real possibilities this camera possesses but we're going to try really hard to get there this time. We also have an HVX standing by.
Well, off to the pre-pre-production meeting.

This thread is closed as the project proved to be far more detailed and elaborate than we could accomplish at this time. We will still be entering a film, just not this one.
