Might buy a DVX100

I been on this forum for a while now just on the HVX side. I'm thinking about getting a DVX100 in addition to my HVX200 for a few reasons. First the extra stop of light for SD stuff would be nice. Second I've been thinking about the Andro mod. I know Hydra is right aroud the corner, but I have a little money and I might have some work soon that might benifit from Ando. Anyway I was wondering what you all thought about this site.

It probably dosn't have a Pany warranty, but I'd loose that with the Ando mod anyway.

It's a scam. Even ignoing the warranty issue, DON'T order from these guys. Period.

Do a search of the forum, and read the sticky at the top of this section for LOADS of information where to buy.

NO NO NO...haha, I attempted to buy from them.....Worste decision ever....It was kind of a hilarious story though....If you want to a headache and a good laugh I'd try em.....(This is in no way encouraging you to buy from them)...

For sure, they are a scam. I almost got snagged about a year ago. First tip is... they operate out of Brooklyn. Not all shops out of Brooklyn or NYC or NJ are bad... just 90% of them are. This thread has the scoop for you..

Sadly, you will find that most places under $2500 are a scam.
Perhaps a little off subject... but I did rent a MacBook Pro for my last shoot (to record audio). The guy (Joe) is in Brooklyn and he intercepted the laptop in mid-flight from Oregon, changed the shipping from two to one day, then redirected its destination from Brooklyn to my front porch. If you ever in a pinch and need a top quality laptop for a short period of time... be sure to trust this guy..
