A primer for New Members

If you are new to DVXUser, its easy to get lost in the ongoing hype of Fests.
This simple 12 step guide will serve to break down the Fests into distinct cycles.
But be warned - while each Fest may break down into 12 steps, they can (and do) overlap.
So while one Fest may be in Stage 8, another may just be starting Stage 1.

Don't worry, with practice, you'll learn to see where in the flow of the fest you are - and soon you'll be jumping in with the best of them to ask....

Go back to Stage 1 and repeat as needed for future Fests.

This time we are not going to publicly announce the rules, you have to try to figure them out. You won't know if you complied until you get a "Accepted" or "Rejected" notice from us once you submit your entry :evil:

... and Larry will only start checking the entries after the submission deadline is passed, so you don't get a 2nd try.



Larry can however be bribed with romantic heart shaped boxes of chocolates to drop hints on the rules.
(Hint: I hear he prefers darker chocolate...)

Barry S however only accepts bunches of roses.

You can't go back and make it 13 steps! That's bad luck! You will just have to skip to 14 steps (effectively ignoring the fact that, even if you call it "14" it's still the 13th step, but, hey, if you refuse to acknowledge that fact, it's not bad luck!)
