been looking around the forum here and ive seen lots of various chat but im just looking for votes here. if you were looking for a .75x wide adapter and had to get one OR the other - would you go:
century/schneider

I can't say anything about 16/9 as I have never used one of their adaptors, but I have never read any complaints on here so am sure they are good, and slightly cheaper than Century.
However I have owned several Century adaptors and they have all been great, very well made and he glass they use is excellent. They have a great reputation and that isn't earned easily.

I can't vote but I can tell you that there is approximately a 3:1 ratio of lenses we sell. For every three Century lenses we sell one 16X9 lens.
I haven't received complaints from clients on either lens.

Could be partly do with advertising/name. Centry have been around for a long while and their reputation is more out there.

Steve,
That's what we figure. But we hear good things from both brands. Either way, I would recommend the full zoom-through model from either brand. We sometimes get orders for the cheaper non-full-zoom-through model and then they have it exchanged for the more expensive one.
