Hi,

I have been trying go de a smooth transfer in my coming doc.
But the minimized video is showing pixels moving around its borders, look at the picture for a better view (arrows where the jaggies are).

Is there a way to fix this? Because its destroying the effect totally.

I only have two layers in AE, one whit the Kodak print, and one with the interview.
The process is that I have frame by frame tracked the video to the right place, to the zoom at the Kodak video.
And just change the latitude and size of the inteview vid.

I would appreciate an idea of any kind.

Thanks!

Easiest way to do it would be just to drop a black solid on top, the width of the border between the frames on the kodak strip.. to do all four sides you'd need 4 solids. The other option (perhaps easier now I think about it) would be to use a single black solid over the top, and punch holes in it with a series of masks.. that'll keep the additional parts needed on a single layer.

If the strip of film is animated, you'll need to track the masks along with it, but it shouldn't be too hard.

Search the AE help files for 'track matte' .

Well I manage to get it done, it became satisfactory...

I did the first vers. Had four solids, which followed the video corners.

Thanks tcindie.
