Sony PD170 in the same level of XL2, DVX100A/b???

Is Sony PD-170 in the same level of a pro camcorders like Canon XL2/XL1s or Panasonic DVX100B/A? Or is it in the level of a Canon GL2??? and what about prices? Thanks guys!.

The PD170 was a professional interlaced video camera. It was king of the hill until the DVX came out. The DVX rather obliterated it. I'd place a PD170 above a GL2, but not quite at the same place as a DVX or XL2.
