Cropping a composition... removing a boom mic

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone out there knows how to crop (and correspondingly blow up the crop to the correct frame size) a composition in FCP? I recently shot some footage I can't go reshoot and can see the edge of a reflector board on the side.

I'm guessing resolution will be lost a bit, but theres no other choice. Its either that or the footage is unusable.

I've found some tutorials online, but they all have to do with changing the aspect ratio for widescreen. I'm going to need to crop the footage. (Kind of like in photoshop!)

Can't you simply zoom in on it a bit using the scale tool under the motion tab?
Seems like that would be the same as cropping and 'blowing up'

Clone tool, or small wide screen bars and reframe the foootage.
