The title says it all, what are you using to correct your photos... post up your best shot as well if you want.

I use Photoshop CS3.
Best shot? whew .... One that I like I posted in the "frost and mirror and falls" thread yesterday ... the one into the mirror of a van while crusing down the highway at 65mph. I also posted a couple pics in a thread "some national park images" or something like that. I tend to like closeup, outdoor stuff although I do take pics of everything I can. :)
Some of the folks here have posted some mighty fine pics in my opinion. Take a look through some of the threads ..... you'll see what I mean.

Adobe Camera Raw > Photoshop CS2
Not necessarily my "best" photo... but a recent favorite that I had quick access to:

I don't normally like selective color... but my mom requested it since the roses in the photo were of significance that day.

Chad, I love that kid of yours. She must steal the scene everywhere she goes. Friggin' adorable. I'm wondering if my bio clock is ticking. sheesh.
As for selective color...I am about 5 years behind everyone else. I've heard it said that it is now becoming old school. But I still love it. I do. I can't help it. And in this shot it looks great.
In fact, they are using it on Monday Night Football now and with pretty great results in my opinion. Generally, after the game has been underway for a while, they take the time to do a photo montage of the games events. And, some of the photos look striking. Some, forced. But, mostly striking. In fact, its my favorite thing about MNF anymore.

Thanks, Rick! I'll have to agree, she's adorable! :)
Actually, I've heard the same thing about selective color... so, I guess that's why I try to avoid it. Truthfully, to most "non-photographers", it's probably not as old school as it is to us. I was actually playing around and added color back to the eyes on a B&W photo. I thought it was cheesy as heck... but the kid's mom loved it.
I do think it works in this photo... but I didn't know if it was just me due to the story behind the roses (they were from her great-grandmother's funeral). My mom has this unusual talent for finding stuff in garage sales and making something pretty cool with it. She found an oval porcelain picture frame... it's white with pink roses that have GRAY stems. What are the odds of that!? I didn't realize why she wanted the photo with selective color until she showed it to me after she put it in the frame. It looked like it was made for it.
I'll have to make a point to watch Monday night football to see what you mean. I rarely get to watch much TV on weeknights... if you don't have one already, get a DVR before you have kids! Ha!

Great story. Sounds like your mom's got a pretty good eye.
MNF...definitely check it out. I love how the photos/selective color shots are taken from the same night. I know that its not hard to do I just appreciate that the photos are all taken same night.
DVR? Yup. Everyone I know who has one swears by them.

That's what I hear... once you have one, you can't live without it. I'm going to have to get with the times!
