I posted a similar tread a few days ago and I didn't get a response so I though I would re-state the question.
I multitrack record classical and jazz concerts. I would like to offer a multi camera shoot of the concerts to my clients. I will be editing the video in FCP. I would feed a reference stereo track to the camera from my audio recorder. I'll mix and sweeten the audio in Pro Tools and then lay it back to FCP. I need to keep the music and video in sync . If I have a close-up of the pianists hands then the video has to be exactly with the audio.
Would running word clock out of my multitrack recorder into the camera assure me that everything would be running on the same clock and stay locked? Am I missing something? Is the G1 the only camera with clock capibilities?
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
