Does anyone know what an "E" in the lower right and an "X" in the upper right of the thumbnail mean? The clip plays fine but won't Dub to tape.

"E" = Edit Copy
"X" = Damaged Clip

If the clip is a SD clip, it cannot be dubbed to tape -- for some unknown reason, the camera can only dub HD material to tape.
