focal length of HVX200 lens

What I am looking for is the comparative focal length of the HVX200 lens. the lens is 5-55 mm I guess and what does that translate to in a 35mm motion picture lens or maybe a super 16mm lens. I have shot a few things with the HVX and I find the lens not quit wide enough or long enough but it is an amazing lens at the right stop.
