what ever happened to the CINEPORTER??

When I first started using this P2 technology, there was a product coming out called the cineporter. I waited and waited, then finally forgot about it.
Now I have 2 HPX-500's and was looking for a better in-the-field portable solution then the current ones that i'm not too fond of.
Has anyone heard about cineporter lately?? I think this would be my solution if it is available and Compatible with the HPX-500.

Spec Comm decided to stop development on the product as the increase in size and drop in price of the P2 cards happened faster than they anticipated - they felt the market need for the Cineporter wasn't as strong as they had hoped in the beginning.

There is a rather long thread about this somewhere on here - do a search for 'Cineporter' and you'll probably find it.
