Component cable

I noticed that there is no sound when I playback the video via the component cable (RGB) , any idea ? while the sound is there in normal cable

Component transfers analog video signal only.

I don't know what you are trying to do, but try first searching wikipedia.org for terms like : composite, s-video, firewire etc. You will find it a great help.

Thanks, I was testing some footages I made with my A1 , the video quality looks brilliants but no sound so I thought sound is not coming out of such cables, is this true ?

Yes, when I say it transfers analog video signal ONLY, that means no sound.

Any way to hear the sound along with the video ?

Your camera should have an audio/video output. Use only the white and red to connect to your monitor/tv audio inputs. The yellow jack is video signal only again.
