Honestly, I am done with this show. Last season was horrible. Season 1 - 3 were great; some of the best stuff on TV. However, since then it is clear they are running out of ideas.
Early on I had some hope that they would link all the seasons together but they are past that point now. There are so many loose ends that they never close. The biggest being who was the women Nina Meyers spoke to at the end of season 1. She told Jack that this plot was bigger than Drazen yet they never followed that up.
I am done with it.

After watching that trailer I am disappointed even further. Tony's back? What the f**k? He died in CTU. How they got that wrong would be baffling beyond belief. Maybe, just maybe, they will try to show a big picture type thing going on here but I guarantee they will go the revenge route here, i.e. Tony getting revenge on the government for the death of his wife.
If you look at the largest terrorist attack of our time, September 11, you will see that Sept 11 was not a stand alone incident. There were several attacks prior starting with the original World Trade Center bombing and including the USS Cole, Somalia, the Sudan Embassy bombing, and various smaller attacks. To the average American these attacks were isolated. It wasn't until Sept 11 that it became clear that one large organization had a role in nearly every attack.
I was hoping 24 went that route and link all the separate days into 1 large organization but it doesn't seem to be the route they are going.
Well, Tony faked Jack's death once, so maybe he faked his own! Unless they buried him and he woke up in the coffin, dug himself out inch by inch, swearing "I'm gonna git me some of them Feds! (the evil ones, not the good ones)" Who knows who will show up next? Edgar & his mom? Kramer from Seinfeld?

Won't the new season be about Jack Bauer busting Kiefer Sutherland out of jail for those drunk driving infractions?
I love how he does the Ford commercials here...."Ford - The drunk driver's choice in automobiles."

This show is such complete garbage at this point that suspension of disbelief has become suspension of brain functionality.

Too bad Warhol isn't alive he could direct the 24 hour film!
Also, for some reason I still watch this show, but I think it lost its appeal when Elisha Cuthbert quit... As for Kiefer, have you seen his movies? That would explain the huge contract for 24 and the fact that he keeps doing it. Movie career = Fail.
