hey guys, im really new to after effects and was wondering if anyone can link me to some simple text tutorials or explain some to me. i am working on a snowboard video and want to have something that looks alright but isnt to complicated, because of time constraints. thanks in advance for any help

check out the 2 AE yellow sticky threads in the top of this AE section of the forum. they have alot of tutorials and info to get you started.

Also check out videocopilot.net Andrew Kramer has some cool little text animations. I was able to complete 2 of them with no problem. I learned a few things from there.
