I dont know what happened, but some parts of my footage that was supposed to be a slow motion 60p recording and 24p on the playback is 60fps on the playback. Anyone no how to convert the files on FCP oe Quicktime Pro so I can decrease their speed only by instead of playing 60fps play it as 24fps? I tried to chage the speed of the clips but it turned out to be a fake slow motion, discarding some frames.

Thanks and hope to hear from you soon!

Are you slowing to 40% or some other number?

Did you set the 60 fps frame rate in the scene file or in the Recording Setup?

What frame rate is being used in the Recording Setup?

I tried to slow down 40% but it converted firts to a 24p file then slowed it down 40%, and at this time a had already lost some frames and it turned out as a fake slow motion.
I set the frame rate as 60fps in the scene file. In the recording setup I set 720 24pn.
Most of the footage is ok, but part of it ended up as if the recording setup was set to 60fps. I dont remember changing it, but maybe i did, or it is a bug, I dont know, a tried to import it again and it kept as 60fps.

Don't convert it first. Leave it as 60 fps. That was most likely your problem -- by converting it first, you already threw away 60% of your frames. You made it into 24p and lost all of the benefit of overcranking.

You can do it with AviSynth.
