I have an xl1 cannon, am i able to use a 35mm adatper on this camera?
and if i could, would someone please list the names of those adapters? thanks

You should clarify whether you mean 35mm adapter as in "35mm DOF adapter" or simply the mount that lets you use 35mm lense, cause there's a big difference. The mount that mikko listed simply let you attach EOS 35mm lense on the camera, but because the chip size on the XL1 is so small, there is a crop factor of roughly 8 on the lense, so a 50mm will become ~400mm for example. WIth a DOF adapter there is no such limitation, but then you'll need to go into the 35mm section of this forum to do some reading, because it's a lot more complicated than just slapping on a single lense mount.
