Video like The Egg

Hey all,

I'm working with a local art gallery to create something like The Egg, which was spawned right here on DVXuser. Anybody remember The Egg?

We're calling it Corpse Video, where everybody makes a short scene, and then it's put together. Hopefully it'll turn out kinda disjointed.

We think that using still photos as a reoccurring element will work. We'll post 4 photos, to be grabbed and used as the last frame of the particpants film.

Does this sound like it'll work?

Any ideas about how to run it through a gallery??

I REMEMBER THE EGG! I absolutely loved it.

That being said... I have no idea what you're talking about. The "4 photos to be used as the last frame" thing is throwing me off. What do you mean exactly.

People will get a concept, and will be working on one scene from an overall larger project? then online there will be 4 photos to be used, at the participants discretion, as the last frame?

Who'll edit the all the peoples' scenes together? am I totally confused here?

Hey Ryan,

I'm getting hung up on the "4 photos" idea a bit too.

The idea is to have one of the four photos appear in between each participants piece. Like a recurring thought, every minute or so.

We're also trying to do as little editing as possible. So each piece we receive will be tacked on to the one we got before it.

Yeah, the "story" may get kinda disjointed :) But we think it'll work.

Whadda ya think?
