Just shot 720/24P at 60 FPS on the HVX going to a newly updated FS-100 in 24P VFR mode, P2 PN.

I bring the two clips into Avid through the mediatool, but the clips arent drawing the media file info correctly. Halfway through my first clip the video jumps to a few seconds before the end of the clip, and jumps again to the end of the second clip (the two clips are similar, so I THINK its the second clip in the second jump). When I play my second clip, it skips from the beginning to about 10 seconds in, and does the same towards the end.

The two clips combined don't even give me all the media I shot, some of it is just plain missing.

Anybody know what might be going on here, and how to fix it?

camera and firestore are all upgraded. Avid Xpress Pro 5.7.5, Windows XP SP2.

Was it a shot that you were going hand held and possibly bumped the firewire cable? This jumping back and forth of the footage sounds exactly like a cable being bumped. Same thing happened to me with some helicopter footage where my arm was bumping the cable and causing it to intermitantly transmit data, causing the FS100 to record and organize the clips oddly with breaks and jumping back and forth.
Do a test with the camera on a tripod and the same settings, dont move the cable and see if your footage is the same or perfect. Then you will know if it was your FS100 taking a dump or if it was you.
