Hi Everyone!

Does anybody have any experience with Expandore in Singapore?

So far I found very positiv comments on it in the net and DV forums, but I can't find it in an official Panasonic website...

How could I find out if it is an authorized Panasonic dealer? I emailed the Asia Panasonic contact, are there any other ways?

If it is not an authorized dealer, what does this imply, mean exactly? They offer a 2 years Mack warranty, and say that I could get the camera repaired at any convenient repair centre close to me (UK). Is that how Mack works?

By the way does anyone know of a cheap start up mic boom?

Many Thanks!

Raoul

Well, god forbid we had an actual PANI REP in here more frequently to address these issues and questions :P

Hey... hold on there... the fact that Jan & Stuart show up *anywhere* is a major plus for Panasonic... have you ever seen a Sony rep on a forum? Or a Canon rep? Or any other manufacturer? Anybody know an e-mail address for the head of the PD170 product line?

Jan, Stuart and Steve of Panasonic have made themselves incredibly available! All you have to do is drop an e-mail over to Jan and she'd answer every question you had. I don't blame them at all for not being able to keep up on every one of these forums, after all, they do also have day jobs... their e-mail addresses have been made public, so it's extremely easy to get ahold of the V.P. over the whole broadcast division of Panasonic USA, or to get ahold of the Brand Manager for the SDX & DVX lines. And yes, she does occasionally stop in here on her own initiative, but that can only be viewed as a tremendous plus, not something to complain about, right?
