Hey all, I am setting out to build my own adapter specifically for the two K-3 lenses I have left from when I was shooting 16mm. I have the stock zoom lens and a 20mm prime that I found on ebay (both bayonet). I would like to use said lenses because 1 I have them now and 2 I LOVE the DOF that they both have. the 20mm prime is very shallow for a lens that wide, and I like how it looks. The stock zoom, well ok it isnt the best lense in the world but since I have and a mount for it, I figure why not?

My question is this:

I am using the idea that Edwierdo used to build his, but I hope to make it shorter (since I do a lot of skiing and biking work where i need to fit the camera in a backpack) and specifically for 16mm lenses. is their any major difference between a adapter for a 35mm lens and one for a 16mm lens?

Thanks,
Dory

16mm lenses are going to be very, very tough to use. The reason is the very small image size that you'll need to get zoomed up to frame on your video camera. It's doable, but you'd need a very powerful achromat, or a very long lead tube.
