External 1394 Disconnect ?? cant record

Ok I am sure its just growing pains with the camera - BUT I cant seem to record in 1080 60i or many other modes (except for the pn modes) I am getting this annoying
"External 1394 Disconnect" message and I cant understand why. Nothing is connected to the firewire at all. Did I hit something in a menu somewhere I am not aware of?

Try turning off the camera and then turning it back on... Firewire can be picky like that. If that doesn't work, unplug the firewire cable, then turn off the camera. Plug the cable back in and then turn the camera on.
